BRING ME YOUR OLD BUTTONS AND PEARLS.
I WILL WIRE-CROCHET A KEEPSAKE NECKLACE FOR YOU.
WEAR. GIFT. FRAME.

Remember Grandma’s and Mother’s ‘Button Box’?  Old and used buttons were safely stored away to replace missing buttons or adorn a newly sewn item.  The wire-crocheted button necklaces shown below feature buttons from both my Grandmother’s old tobacco tin and my Mother’s large glass peanut butter jar. It’s quite possible that my Grandmother had buttons in her ‘tobacco tin’ from her Mother and/or Grandmother dating from 1860’s. A nice selection of 100 year old buttons.
